This past May, the inaugural Smith-Tuck Business Bridge program for women was launched at Smith College in Northampton, MA. Thirty-seven women from liberal arts colleges across the country participated in this intensive three-week program that teaches critical business fundamentals. Taught by faculty from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth, the rigorous curriculum covers accounting, marketing, spreadsheet modeling, and culminates in a team-based corporate valuation project, which is presented to panels of business leaders. We are eagerly recruiting for this year's cohort, and welcome your help. The program will run May 23 - June 10, 2016, which will allow students to participate and still have time to complete a valuable summer internship. This is an excellent opportunity for a student to gain extremely valuable skills, and immediately begin to use them in industry. If you know a college-age woman who is seeking to build her skills and knowledge in business, we hope you will encourage her to apply. The tuition for the three-week program is $7,500, which includes room and board. Financial aid is available.
Application Deadline: First round: March 1, 2016; Second round: April 1, 2016.
