The Latino Alumni Association of Columbia University (LAACU) and the Columbia Alumni Association (CAA) invite you to our 16th Annual El Regreso, a festive evening celebrating the diversity and achievements of Latino alumni with familia!
We are pleased to announce that this year’s El Regreso Keynote and Heritage Award recipient is the Honorable Julissa Reynoso, ’01CLS, who served as the United States Ambassador to Uruguay and the Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for Central American, Caribbean and Cuban Affairs in the US Department of State. She is now a Partner at Charbourne & Parke and teaches at Columbia University.
This year's Young Alumni Award goes to Dr. Elizabeth V. Velilla, GS ‘02, the youngest and first Latina Assistant Dean and Director of Research Operations at the United States Military Academy. She currently serves as Assistant Dean and Assistant Professor in the Department of Behavioral Sciences and Leadership at West Point, New York.
We hope to celebrate the achievements of these and other alumni with you at El Regreso on March 28th!
