2017 marks the 30th anniversary of Columbia College’s first graduating co-ed class. In just 30 years CC alumnae have accomplished incredible things. Our event will connect alumnae to students and each other, celebrate them, reflect on the past, and look forward to the future of women at the College.
The conference will feature simultaneous morning and afternoon panel sessions, multiple keynote talks, a celebratory lunch at Low Library, and a concluding cocktail party. Tickets range from $5-$100, with different price points for full or half-day admission, students, young alumni, older alumni and guests.
Some of the topics to be addressed are:
Feminism and equality; Young women, confidence and cultural norms; Female entrepreneurs; Living life with authenticity; Breaking the glass ceiling; Why coeducation mattered and matters still;How media shapes the perception of women; amongst others.
