Presents

Y Tu También! A College Application Workshop!

An interactive workshop for the college application process, focusing on college essays, resumes, the common application, and financial aid. We give you the inside information that comes from alumni who lived the experience of attending these schools!

When: Saturday, December 14th 2013
Time: 1:00-4:00pm
Where: Columbia University (exact room location will be sent to those who rsvp)

As part of our expanding mission, the Inter-Ivy League Alumni Council is providing a free workshop for students to enhance their college applications. This workshop will provide individualized counseling for students focusing on the college essay, the common application, and the financial aid process. There will be alumni from all the Ivy League schools present, including former admissions officers of various schools.

Students will receive tips on preparing for college interviews, and will have the opportunity to inquire about programs of study at various schools. While our focus is on the Ivy League, we are helping with applications to all universities. All students are asked to come prepared with a draft of their college essay.

Space is limited, so students should rsvp immediately! Minority students are strongly encouraged to attend. Students are asked to commit for a 1 hour minimum, but may stay for the full 3 hour duration of the workshop. To confirm attendance and location please contact Juan Carlos Salinas atytutambien.nyc@gmail.com . Follow us on facebook to get full details on our program. www.facebook.com/YTuTambienNyc
