Appointed volunteers will serve through June 30th, 2015--the end of the term of LAACU’s current Board of Directors.

Mentorship Chairs (2 positions available)

The Mentorship Chairs, will be focused on identifying alumni with recent professional success, and interest in mentoring; and will match them with select LAACU mentees.

Expected Deliverable: the Mentorship Chairs will execute at least 1 activity to engage LAACU’s selected Mentors & Mentees before end of term.

Graduate Student Relations Chair (1 position available)

The Graduate Student Relations Chairs shall co-lead the Student Relations Committee with the Undergraduate Student Relations Chair.

The responsibilities of the Graduate Student Relations Chair on the committee will include, but not be limited to:

• keeping LAACU informed of the needs of Columbia University’s Latino Graduate students;

• coordinating LAACU's participation at university events of interest to Latino Graduate students of CU;

• creating new events or programs that foster the academic success of Latino Graduate Students, when needed.

Expected Deliverable: before end of term the Graduate Student Relations Chair will execute at least 1 event to engage Latino Graduate Students of Columbia University.

LAACU will send-out electronic ballots with nominating blurbs on Tuesday, August 19th.
