"Stephanie is a Manhattan native with Puerto Rican and Greek roots (NuyoGreekan), and holds degrees from the University of Michigan and Columbia University. Kweli conferences and workshops keep her sharp. She’s a Comics Experience and Women In Comics Member, and volunteers as a librarian fill-in for a public elementary school as Mrs. Peanut Butter. Mom to Amazons. Her works are represented by Adrienne Rosado of Stonesong Literary Agency."

Stephanie's fiction and comics appear in numerous anthologies and on Webtoon, including soon-to-be-released COVID CHRONICLES: A Comics Anthology (Graphic Mundi, 2/15/2021). Her prose story “Jean” will be published by Ohio State University Press in August 2021 in Speculative Fiction for Dreamers: A Latinx Anthology. Many of her works have benefitted efforts such as #GetUsPPE; INSIDER ART: Female & Non-Binary Comic Book Retailer Fund; and the Book Industry Charitable Foundation. In Public Health, she been a TEDMED Great Challenge moderator, and helped First Lady Michelle Obama’s team develop her Let’s Move campaign.
